Charlesann FC resumed training at the Mile 2 Community Stadium in preparation for the fusion league, which commences in two months.
Charlesann FC is a football academy based in Amuwo Odofin, owned by Mr. Charles and Mrs. Ann Philip. The club was established in 2019.
Trust Okah, who is the team manager, told our correspondent the team is preparing for the fusion football competition.
Mr. Trust claimed footballers who have played in the Nigerian league and other leagues in the world are part of Charlesann FC.

He stated that the club is committed to developing young footballers in Amuwo Odofin, as he solicited support from the Amuwo Odofin local government.
According to Mr. Trust, a meeting concerning the fusion football league was held on April 5, 2022.
He said organisers are working tirelessly to ensure the league commences on time.
Mr. Saturday Omojara, who is the chief coach of the team, told our correspondent that he was unimpressed by the team’s performance in the previous competition.
He stated that he would expect a lot from his team this year because he expects a better performance.
Mr. Jerry Azubuike, who is the assistant coach of the team, commended Amuwo News.
“I appreciate this platform you have given us,” he said.
