Amuwo Odofin Faceoff 3, 5 Aside football tournament continued on Sunday night at Darius Turn in Amuwo Odofin with 7 teams participating in 4 matches.
The day’s tournament kicked off with a closely contested encounter between Magic Empire FC and Achievas FC.
Achievas FC needed a late-minute strike to claim all three points after Magic Empire FC had pulled one back in the second half in a game that ended 2-1.
Dikachief FC was awarded all three points after Prekese FC forfeited the match by not showing up at the venue.
In the third game of the night between Juventus FC and Onyi Best, the defending champions, Juventus FC dominated in both halves scoring two goals before Onyi Best pulled one back.
Gbadun FC was not tested by their opponents, Darius FC, as they cruised to a 7-0 victory in the final match of the night.
Darius FC is the first team in the tournament to have conceded 7 goals in a match without getting on the score sheet.
As it stands, Juventus FC tops group A with 6 points, Onyi Best and Gbadun FC both have three points while Darius Fc has 0 points.
