Face-off Draw: Eight teams selected

Amuwo Odofin Face-Off has held a draw of the 8 football teams that will participate in the upcoming 5 a-side tournament, which will commence on May 21, 2022. 

The draw was held at Darius Lounge, Diamond Estate, Amuwo Odofin, which is where the competition will be held.

Representatives of participating clubs were in attendance to witness the draw.The participating teams are as follows:
 
Magic Empire FC, Juventus FC, Dikachief FC, Prekese FC, Darius FC, Onyi Best FC, Achievas FC, Gbadun FC. The draw happened as teams were randomly selected and grouped into two groups.

Group A comprises Achievas FC, Magic Empire FC, Dikachief, and Prekese FC, while Group B comprises Gbadun FC, Darius FC, Juventus FC, and Onyi Best FC, who are the defending champions.

The founder of Face Off 3, Ike Henry (Dr. Radio), stated that two teams with the highest points from each group will qualify for the semifinals. 

“Teams with the highest points will make it to the semifinals after 3 matches have been played.”

He also wished the participating teams the best of luck.

“I want to use this medium to say wonderful good luck to you all and I pray that this tournament will take all of us to the next level in the mighty name of Jesus.”

According to Dr. Radio, games will be played on weekends and will kick off at 7:00pm with 20 minutes to be played in both halves.

The final match will be played on June 12.
