After the heavy rainfall in the early hours of Monday, a man who claimed to be named Phillips was seen half-naked along the Alaba Expressway, Festac Extension, Mile 2 by eyewitnesses.
According to eyewitnesses, Phillips claimed he had been drugged and robbed of his valuables by a man named Iyke.
An eyewitness, Mr. Ikechukwu Jaden Obezi, said Philips was seen running across the street several times and was almost hit by a car.
Mr. Obezi also said Philips was seen rolling in the sand but was apprehended by a passerby who washed him up.
Mr. Obezi told Amuwo News that Phillips repeatedly called out the name Iyke as he accused Iyke of stealing his valuables. “He kept pleading for the blood of Jesus while he talked to himself.”
He also said Phillips proclaimed to be a fraudster (yahoo boy) as he assured passersby he was telling the truth about who he was.
Philips was along the Alaba Expressway, Festac Extension, Mile 2 at the time of filing this report.
