Honorable Omoniyi Olulade Bethel, who is the Councilor of Ward B, has declared his intention to represent the Amuwo Odofin constituency in the House of Representatives. He is a member of the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Olulade made the declaration on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Ogo (behind the community school).
“On behalf of myself, my family, and every man and woman I have impacted, we accept to go into the green chamber and make a difference for the people of Amuwo Odofin,” he declared.
In a chat, he stated that he wants to represent Amuwo Odofin to do more for the people, noting that the office comes with resources that belong to the people.
“One of the major reasons why I am running and will become the next house representative for Amuwo Odofin is that I want the people to enjoy what belongs to them.”
He said the 1999 constitution must be amended to favor the average Nigerian, adding that there is the need to have like-minded people in the House of Representative and influence policies that will be beneficial to the Amuwo Odofin constituency.
Olulade claimed there is no synergy between the Chairman and the House of Representatives and he wants to ensure this to aid development for the people of Amuwo Odofin.
Prince Eniola Ojajude, who is the National President of the Afenifere National Youth Council (ANYC) endorsed Honorable Olulade saying he has the interest of the people at heart.
Honorable Kiki Emmanuel, who is the Leader of the Legislative Council, described Olalude as a man of vision as he endorsed him to represent Amuwo Odofin in the House of Representatives.
Honorable Michael Ojomo, Councilor of Ward A, spoke highly of Olulade and described him as the best candidate to represent the people of Amuwo Odofin in the House of Representatives.
