Residents of Zone F, Amuwo Odofin have complained about interruption in the supply of electricity, which started in the early hours of Sunday.
“Other zones are not going through what we are going through here, it is unfair. If other zones are supplied electricity, we should be supplied too,” Mr. Sunday Olatunji lamented to our correspondent.
According to Honorable Michael Ojomo, who is the councilor of ward A1, “The light situation is very bad and it is giving us sleepless nights. Some residents have been supplied electricity while some are in darkness. I have been there to complain, residents have been there to complain too but all they say is it will be fixed.”
Our correspondent was at Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC), opposite Facgbems fueling station. No member of the maintenance team was available to speak but Dare Alejo, who is a customer service person assured our correspondent the complaint had been logged and would be resolved.
At the time of filing this story, power had not been restored.
