Parents in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area have applauded the government for the ongoing vaccination exercise.
Mrs. Ogidi Ann, a resident and a mother of two, described her experience at the secretariat as smooth.

“Measles vaccination is necessary to take and it is good to prevent certain illnesses. we should prevent any illnesses because our children are harmed.
“Please vaccinate your children when due. It is not good to procrastinate or skip any vaccine. The result of our negligence is not good for our children.”
She implored parents to pay attention to the vaccines given to their children.

Mrs. Olufunmi Ukaewen, a resident and a mother of two kids said. “It has been five days since we vaccinated my child and there has been no reaction, no headaches or fever. We didn’t even have a reason to take paracetamol.”
She urged parents to ensure their children are vaccinated as it is free and seamless. She commended the nurses for doing a great job.
Mr. Oluchi Chiweta, a resident and a mother, described this process as the best she has ever had at the secretariat.
She commended Amuwo Odofin Local Government and its nurses for a great job.

The Amuwo Odofin Local Government Supervisor for Health Honorable Zainab Adebimpe Bello was unavailable to speak at the time of filing this report.
It was gathered that children between the ages of nine to 59 months are being vaccinated and the current vaccination campaign will end on 24, June 2022.
