A tricycle rider, Mr. Chidi Nelson and his passangers survived unhurt on Wednesday afternoon after being hit by a bus driver.
The tricycle fell into the gutter after the collision along 111 Road, Festac Town.

“I was coming from 41 Road, going to First Gate. A white Hilux was driving on the other side of the road and I noticed he drove towards our lane but before I could stop he hit my motorcycle and we were in the gutter with two other passengers.
“Thankfully, none of us sustained any injury because this accident could have been worse than it is.”
He expressed gratitude to God for being alive as he thanked police officers and passersby for coming to his aid.
Samuel Stephen, an eyewitness, who blamed the driver of the Hilux for the accident said the driver was seen resisting arrest as he drove with one hand and engaged police in minor scuffles with the other hand.

Police officers at the scene of the event said the driver was apprehended for driving a vehicle without a license plate and would be taken to Area E Command, 2nd Avenue, Festac Town.
Police officers refused to allow the suspect to speak to Amuwo News.
