For the second time in 2022, residents and motorists in Amuwo Odofin have complained about the scarcity of fuel which has also affected other Local Government Areas in Lagos State.
Ibeawuchi Emmanuel, a resident, who had given up on the possibility of purchasing fuel for the day said, “Honestly I am tired of this country. If I had enough money to travel out of this country, I will leave.

“After spending over two hours at the fueling station. I was unable to purchase fuel. Honestly, it is frustrating.”
Mr Benjamin Adibeli, a motorist, described his experience as awful. He stated that he had been in the long queue for over three hours with no hope of leaving soon.

“My day has been ruined, my schedule has been cancelled. I planned to get here very early to buy my fuel and get back to work but I am still here.”
Mr Adibeli implored Nigerians to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) and endure that they vote wisely at the upcoming general elections.
Boyo Toritseju, a motorist and resident of Festac Town, who said he had been in the long queue for over an hour, expressed his frustration after driving a distance to Festac Link Road to search for fuel.

He condemned the situation as he urged youths to get their PVC and stated that the change Nigeria needs is dependent on voting wisely.
On a visit to Peridot fueling station, along Festac Link Road, Amuwo Odofin, It was observed that residents and drivers had to join long queues to purchase the now scarce commodity.
God will surely help us but we have to help ourselves by voting wisely. Amuwonews thanks for the update
