The National Productivity Center has collaborated with Amuwo Odofin Local Government to stimulate and improve productivity at workplaces in Amuwo Odofin.
The one-day productivity awareness was held on May 11 at the secretariat, 41 Road, Festac Town.

Workers were implored to be productive at work and at home, as being productive at home will have an impact at work.
The Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Engr. Valentine Buraimoh, attended the training.

Engr. Buraimoh addressed the workers, saying the training was organized for everyone to know what is expected of them. He stated that labor is about responsibility and creativity.
The Executive Chairman said, “I want to give kudos to our workers here for their hard work, diligence, and efficiency in the discharge of their duties.

“To be productive means working and thinking smart to achieve results, and that is what they are doing here.”
The National Productivity Center is a body dedicated to stimulating and promoting the productivity of all sectors of the Nigerian economy.
The National Productivity Center was represented by the State Coordinator, Mrs. Okwosa Chinwe; Deputy Director, Mrs. Binitie Joyce; Deputy Director, Mrs. Stella Ugwu; Chief Productivity Officer, Mr. Oke; and other members of the team.
In attendance were the Vice Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Honorable Maureen Ashara; the Secretary of the Local Government, Honorable Kemi Antonio; the Chief of Staff, Honorable Idris Olusegun; members of the legislative council, and newly sworn-in council members.
