Festac-based author, Josephine Oghenekevbe Ogufere, is set to release her 10th published book, titled “How Sanwo-Olu Revamped Lagos”.
The award-winning author, whose dream is to teach 1,000 kids in Festac to read, announced the book launch via her social media page.
According to Ogufere, the online launch will be held on her Facebook page on May 29, 2022.
She shared a synopsis of the book, stating that “It’s a book where I’m able to recount all the pieces of my life and get on this journey to make sure that every young person around me, of course, Festac first of all, is what they ought to be.”
In a brief online chat with the author, she stated that the book was inspired by her need to tell her Lagos leadership story.
She described leadership by saying, “Leadership is hard; being a leader is hard; it takes a lot of sacrifices, but then when you do get it, there’s no limit to what you can achieve being a leader.”
In response to combining writing her yet-to-be-released book with teaching kids in Festac, she said, “Grace, thank God for grace and my ability to utilize grace by taking responsibility and being intentional.”
Ogufere said the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is part of her leadership story, hence why she titled the set to be released book ‘How Sanwo-Olu Revamped Lagos’.
She stated that an online version will be available on Amazon while signed physical copies will be available at her libraries located at 112 Road G Close House 1, Festac Town and Kevbes Book Haven, Km 44 Badagry Expressway, Badagry.
Wow, this is awesome.
More grace. Congratulations
